Dallas Taylor is the grandson of a rum-runner, a valedictorian, a handyman, and a good Catholic girl. He lives and writes in Seattle, and builds things for a living in his spare time.
I spent years finding my voice. Now I quash it in service of the project at hand. It's better that way.
I've got a draft to write rebooting the first book of my fantasy series. I'm usually good for 1000 words a day, five days a week. So I'm aiming to keep that pace for the six weeks of the workshop (and then onward, til the draft is done). With luck I'll write even more.
I'm here to do what I can to help for a program that had a huge effect on me as a writer and person. If you've got a buck or two to spare, this is a fine place to donate it.
Alas, the Clarion Write-a-Thon has ended, with $7,175.73 raised so far! However, we are still accepting donations. Thank you for your support!
