Adam Israel graduated the Clarion Workshop in 2010. He's had a half dozen short stories published since, and is currently working on the first in a series of novels.
This is my style. There are others like it, but this one is mine. I like pretty words, as long as they don't get in the way of the flow. Ya know?
For this year's write-a-thon, I am attempting to reach a goal that I failed to do during my Clarion year: draft a short story per week. It's not about quality or even speed, it's about defeating the malicious brain weasels that try to eat the words before they've reached my fingers.
I'd like to raise so much money that Clarion doesn't have to worry about funding for many years to come. That's nigh unlikely, so I'll just be happy to raise a couple hundred dollars and do my part to hit the goal.
Alas, the Clarion Write-a-Thon has ended, with $7,175.73 raised so far! However, we are still accepting donations. Thank you for your support!
