I attended Clarion in the summer of 2011. Since then, I've had stories in Apex, the anthology "Kaleidoscope" (2014, Twelfth Planet Press), and Lightspeed (Queers Destroy Science Fiction special issue, June 2015). I have a number of novels and stories published through small presses as well. In June, I attended the Center for the Study of Science Fiction's novel workshop and am going to be first-drafting that novel this summer.
Contemporary, casual, dialogue-focused, but I can hop into other styles for short periods. Most comfortable with contemporary fantasy, but have been known to venture into mystery, science fiction, supernatural, superhero, and other oddities.
I'm going to try to get fifty thousand words of the novel "Black Angel" written during the next six weeks. Two years ago I did "Red Devil" and this is the next book in the series (and probably the last).
It'd be great to get a couple hundred dollars to help out Clarion students!
Alas, the Clarion Write-a-Thon has ended, with $12,907.77 raised so far! However, we are still accepting donations. Thank you for your support!
